Patricia Alfieri is a Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive and varied experience encompassing many different organizations from hospitals in the US to temporary community clinics in Haiti. She received her Masters of Nursing Science from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut. While studying for her FNP, she sought opportunities to work with the LGBTQ community, completing rotations with Katherine Tierney, FNP at Middlesex Endocrinology of Middletown, CT and AC Demidont, DO in New Haven, CT.
Ms. Alfieri is experienced in critical care, community health, and women’s health with an emphasis on breastfeeding. She was greatly influenced by her trip to Haitiin the aftermath of the earthquake in 2010 and rediscovered her passion for holistic healthcare. Her interest lies in health promotion and believes all people deserve to live healthy and productive lives in the manner they choose. She is passionate about equal access to care and fights tirelessly for her patients to receive the services they need.
She is committed to providing healthcare to undeserved populations and believes access to nonjudgmental providers is each person’s right, regardless of gender, sexual orientation or presentation. Spending time with her family and friends re-energizes Ms. Alfieri. She can often be found with her morning coffee knitting a gift and watching the wildlife in her backyard. When she does get moving, she enjoys casual runs and gardening.
