Dr. Darin A. Latimore is the deputy dean for diversity and inclusion at Yale School of Medicine, where he is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive plan for furthering diversity, equity and inclusion at the school. Prior to that, Dr. Latimore was associate dean for student and resident diversity at the University of California-Davis School of Medicine where he oversaw medical student and resident diversity programs. He has a long career as a practicing physician serving the LGBTQ community and specializing in primary care for HIV and transgender patients. His professional experience also includes working at CARES, a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves HIV/AIDS patients who are uninsured or underinsured.
Dr. Latimore obtained his undergraduate degree at University of California Berkeley. He received his medical degree at UC Davis School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at UC Davis Medical Center.
